Outpatient Services

Outpatient Services are available in all three counties and include: intensive individual and group counseling, community engagement services, psychiatric evaluations, medication therapy, and nursing services.

Services for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults

The Youth Department at Southern Highlands provides clinical evaluation, intensive therapy, and supportive counseling for children and adolescents ages 6-17 with mental health and/or substance use disorders at our Springhaven Center and at various school locations within Mercer and McDowell counties.

Crisis Services

Southern Highlands provides crisis services including crisis stabilization and a 28 day substance abuse residential treatment program for those individuals needing a higher level of care.

Community Centered Services

Southern Highlands has community based services to help individuals remain in their community instead of requiring frequent psychiatric hospitalization and/or commitment.

Integrated Care

Southern Highlands has services that integrate both behavioral health and primary care. This is a one stop shop allowing consumers to engage in services that meet both their behavioral and physical health needs. These services are available at the Princeton Main Clinic.

Services for the Intellectually and Developmentally Delayed

Southern Highlands has a variety of services available for individuals who are intellectually and developmentally delayed including Waiver, Respite, Residential, Day Habilitation, and Sheltered-Employment.

Residential Services
